You may know him best for his countless soft rock ballads such as, “When a Man Loves a Woman,” singer-songwriter extraordinaire, Michael Bolton, called Ryan today to talk about his time on “Dancing with the Stars.”

Last week, Bolton who danced beside Chelsie Hightower, sparked some controversy as he was kicked off of ABC’s hit show, “Dancing with the Stars.”
The night before, judge Bruno Tonioli referred to Chelsie and Bolton’s jive as “the worst in 11 seasons” and followed that comment with a score of 3 out of 10.
Despite Bruno’s harsh comments, Bolton explains, “I don’t expect him to apologize… I think it would be appropriate if he looks at the tape and sees what he did. But I’m not pressuring him for an apology, I asked for it already and I don’t ask more than once.”
Bolton explained he believes its Bruno’s “job is to definitely critique, but my understanding is the spirit of the show is not just to tear you apart but to actually encourage you to fix things.”
Keeping things on a positive note, Bolton says that because of the show, “I’m in the shape of my life… I was losing pounds of fat I didn’t know I had!”
