John Mayer & Friends Seek To Save Malaria Victims Under the Age of Justin Bieber [VIDEO]
It’s no secret that John Mayer is sly guy with a dry sense of humor and a twinkle in his eye, but his raw comedic chops truly come to light in the new Comedy Fights Malaria campaign that’s spreading across the web. Mayer, along with 20 other celebrities ranging from Ed Helms to Jeremy Piven to Orlando Bloom, has joined up with Malaria No More to use an amusing, even shocking approach to get people talking about malaria, a disease that kills a child every 45 seconds in Africa.
Check out these two never-before-seen videos where Mayer, flanked by B.J. Novak, Rob Riggle and other comedians, proves to be much more than a smooth crooner. In one video, Mayer encourages viewers to “Get’m to Bieber” — a reference to protecting kids in Africa from malaria, so they can reach Justin Bieber’s age of 16. In the other video, Mayer gives a hilarious recount of his battles with a mosquito in his NYC apartment.
