Flo Rida’s Album Only One Flo (Part 1) Hits Shelves Today!
Flo Rida joined Ryan in studio Tuesday “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to discuss his most recent album Only One Flo (Part 1) as well as offered an explanation behind making the album two parts.
Only One Flo (Part 1), which hit shelves and iTunes today, includes new tracks with major collaborations such as “Who Dat Girl” ft. Akon and “On and On” ft. Kevin Rudolph, as well as includes current hit “Club Can’t Handle Me” featuring David Guetta. Flo explained the decision behind the two part album as he “came up with the clever idea of breaking the album into two parts” saying “I’m from florida, so we broke it up in two parts” and took ‘Flo’ for the first part and ‘Rida’ for the second album Only One Rida (Part 2), which displays an edgier collection and is expected to be released Spring 2011.
Only One Flo also includes collaborations with Ludacris, Gucci Mane, Cash Money, and even Flo’s own record label artist Git Fresh, as well as includes new reggae artist Laza Morgan.
Flo revealed his tracks are “spur of the moment, spontaneous” and his family of 7 sisters definitely has influenced his raps and his respect for women. When asked by Ryan if Flo has a lot of women in his life, Flo simply stated “I don’t have a lot of women, but I do have a lot of people hitting me up,” adding, he’s become “solidified as one of those who will be around for a long time…[and is] the life of the party” for sure.
You can get your copy of Only One Flo (Part 1) now, available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon, or in stores. And keep your eyes out for part 2 Only One Rida expected this Spring.
