As 2010 comes to a close, we look back on the year that brought once lesser known micro-blogging service Twitter to the mainstream in entertainment, politics, industry and social good. Tuesday, Twitter Inc. released what they thought were the 10 most powerful tweets of 2010, spanning topics from triumph at the World Cup, to tragedy in Haiti, to matrimony in the monarchy.
