‘Californication’s David Duchovny Gets It On [AUDIO]
David Duchovny phoned in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” Thursday morning to chat about the continuation of hit show “Californication” into it’s 5th season. As well as, discussed what signing a contract in Hollywood is like and about his character Hank, which got David to joking with a high school story involving Marvin Gaye’s hit “Let’s Get It On.”
After Ryan revealed Amy, from the radio staff, took special attention to her looks today upon hearing David would be interviewed, David brought us back to his high school days and reminisced “I had a friend in high school, this reminds me, when he would call a girl on the phone he would put on Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On,” but it had to start right when she answered the phone for those first notes.”
Although David continued on to discuss “Californication” and explained how even “slightly flawed” character Hank does well with the girls being “he tells the truth, he isn’t runinng and hiding, he’s a mess and he is who he is. He’ll tell you that and I think that’s attractive as a character to not just women on the show, but men and women in the audience as well…[as some what of] a wish fulfillment that you coud actually walk around and say what’s on your mind,” it was still the continuation of the Marvin Gaye joke which stole the interview–check it out here for a laugh of your own!
You can catch “Californication” on Showtime, Sundays at 9pm.
