‘Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Star Adrienne Maloof Spills on Reunion Special & Charlie Sheen’s ‘Day By Day’ Recovery [AUDIO]
“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Adrienne Maloof phoned in Tuesday morning to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” where she discussed everything from the square footage of her Beverly Hills home mansion, an expected season 2 of the hit Bravo show & how the reunion special took a whooping 15 hours to film, to even her honest feelings on Camille Grammer, and better yet, her neighbor and “dear friend” Charlie Sheen’s recent hospitalization and the 911 phone call she and hubby Dr. Paul Nassif placed.
The Beverly Hills blonde, who resides in a “17,000 square foot” home, explained the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reunion special, “first of all, was 15 hours…[it was] incredibly draining, we had to relive a total of 17 episodes, it was tough, very tough.” And although it may have been tough on the ladies, the ratings sure have come easy. Leaving Adrienne to confidently add, “I think with our numbers we’re pretty much expecting there to be a season two.”
As for if the cast will remain the same, Adrienne commented she isn’t sure one girl in particular (ahem, Camille Grammer) will be returning, but sincerely believes “I would [like to see her come back], I think it would actually be very beneficial for her to come back, she can’t leave the way with her persona now, it would be a shame. And I think she has something to say and prove in season 2, so I’d love to see her back.”
Someone who may not be returning anytime soon to his own successful hit TV show “Two and A Half Men,” is neighbor Charlie Sheen, whom Adrienne and her husband are “long-time friends” too. In fact, Adrienne revealed “[Brooke and Charlie] were married at our house, so we go way back.”
As to Charlie’s recent hospitilazation, Adrienne furthered “it was difficult that night, we got a phone call obviously early in the morning, and the women said she needed to speak to my husband immediately and of course I asked ‘who is calling?’ and she said ‘I’m calling from Charlie Sheen’s so then I knew, okay, and woke my husband up and she started saying he is complaining of severe abnominal cramps and he said ‘listen, you have to call 911.’ I don’t know if she called right away but we called right away just to follow up with that call and my husband happened to be taking me to the hospital, my mom was having back surgery, so we actually met the ambulance at Cedars to make sure Charlie was okay as well”
