Real estate mogul and potential Presidential hopeful Donald Trump called into “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” Friday to talk about the new season of “The Celebrity Apprentice,” being roasted on Comedy Central, and where he stands on making a decision to run for President.

In the wake of the country’s most severe financial crisis in recent memory and unemployment rates still at record highs, Trump believes that he could change the course for America if he were in office.

“I love the country, I hate what’s happening with our country,” explained Trump. “I look at what’s going on and it’s very, very sad.”

Of the current administration, Trump told Ryan, “We have nobody that fights for our country. We have people who don’t know what they’re doing.”

Sources inside Washington and Hollywood have said that with every week that passes, Trump is becoming more and more serious about the idea of a Presidential run.

“If I run, and if I win – and I’ll be announcing one way or the other by June – this country will be respected again.”

Trump is unable to announce a potential Presidential bid now due to his show “The Celebrity Apprentice,” which would violate the “equal time rule” which requires radio and television stations to treat political candidates equally when it comes to selling or giving away air time.”
