Comedian Zach Galifianakis hosted “Saturday Night Live” this past weekend, and single-handedly revived the opening monologue which critics have said has suffered in recent years. It was the “Hangover” star’s second time hosting the show, and he did not disappoint.

The monologue was chock-full of hard hitting jokes about American stereotypes and wrapped up with a musical number, lip-syncing “Tomorrow” from the musical “Annie,” accompanied by his inner monologue written on poster board.

Huffington Post writes, “He’s intensely likable, comfortingly weird and has an innate integrity that is unique to him.”
