Executive Vice President of Specials, Music and Live Events for CBS Entertainment, Jack Sussman phoned in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” Friday morning to chat what’s in store with upcoming 46th Annual Academy Country Music Awards.

Jack divulged the ACM Award show will include stars such as Robert Pattinson, Celine Dion, Rihanna, Jennifer Nettles, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and more!

As for how they got R.Pats to head out to Vegas, Jack explains “we invited him, he said yes. He’s bringing Reese Witherspoon and we’re putting on a big party…it’ll be a big weekend here in Vegas, have a lot of big acts, he’s going to join us…”

As for not-so-country Rihanna, Jack revealed she and Jennifer Nettles will be performing together, in which he explained the duo paired up as, “we had worked with Rihanna [at the Grammys] and listened to some of her new music while we were together in Los Angeles and she played us this one song, and when we heard it our first reaction was, ‘did someone in Nashville write that?'” Adding, “it sounded like one of these great country songs that she put her spin on. Jennifer was looking for a duet partner, we put them together and when you  put two great artists like that together great things will happen and you’ll see it Sunday night.”

Jack also gave us the low down on Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, revealing Taylor will be performing her hit track “Mean,” whereas Carrie will perform a duet.

Jack says, “Carrie Underwood will walk out and I guarantee you she will be burning down that stage…she’s going to do nice little duet, but wants it to be kept between her and her duet partner-and if you know her well, you know you do not want to make her upset.”

Jack also promises a “great opening” as well as ensures host Blake Shelton will do great, revealing “he’ll serenate a women he loves at the top of show.”

Tune in to the full interview above, as well as be sure to catch the ACM Awards Sunday, on CBS April 3, at 8pm.
