The busiest man in showbiz (and our boss), Ryan Seacrest landed in the number one slot in the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter‘s fourth annual Reality Power List.

The radio personalty, “American Idol” host, and producer told THR about his future plans to expand his empire yet again with a scripted TV series and the film industry in the near future. After conquering reality TV production Seacrest is now in the development of two scripted series and another project with Miramax co-founder Harvey Weinstein.

Although he claims to be no expert in the film industry, Seacrest has already sold one film (declining to reveal the buyer) and another in development. Seacrest may not know all there is to know about the film industry, but he has partnered up with film production specialists who do.

With the details for launching his cable network with partners CAA and AEG still under tight a lid, Seacrest reveals that it is “still very active,” and intends to contribute content from his production company , he will not be calling it the Ryan Seacrest Channel.
