You’ve heard Ryan talking about it on “American Idol,” the unique opportunity for music fans to write hit singer Taio Cruz‘s next big single. The “Dynamite” crooner teamed up with Coca-Cola for their Perfect Harmony collaboration which invited “Idol” fans to write the song that will be performed on the show’s season finale.

“It’s definitely the first time that I’ve done this process with fans,” said Taio in a interview with Coca-Cola. “There are a lot of budding songwriters and budding producers out there that I’m sure are immensely talented.”

Leading up to May 13, fans have been visiting where they can listen to the opening segment of the song called “Positive,” then write the lyrics to finish each verse. Following each of the four submission phases, Coca-Cola selects the top three lyrics and then fans vote on their favorite. The lyrics with the most votes win a spot into the song!

“I’d say the lyrics in the song that I’ve written so far that the fans can collaborate on… [they] come from a place from where I really do believe that you can achieve whatever it is that you dream,” explains Taio. “As long as you’re positive, as long as you look forward to the dream and stay focused.”

Be sure to watch Taio Cruz perform the final result of Coca-Cola’s Perfect Harmony collaboration on May 25 at 8/7c on FOX!
