Beyoncé’s ‘Run The World (Girls)’ Video Makes Debut On ‘American Idol’ [VIDEO]
The long-awaited video for Beyonce‘s newest single “Run The World (Girls)” debuted on “American Idol” Wednesday night, following scenes from the 29-year-old singers’ mentoring session with the top three contestants.
The music video was directed by Francis Lawrence, the mastermind behind such mega-videos as Lady Gaga‘s “Bad Romance” and Britney Spears‘ “Circus.” In an interview with MTV News, Francis described it as, “”one of the biggest Beyoncé music videos ever done.”
In the post-apocalyptic video, Beyonce and her female army are seen fighting off the opposing male force, all the while dressed in Givenchy and Norma Kamali. Watch the full video below and let us know what you think in the comments below!
