‘American Idol’ Performance Show Draws 122 Million Votes, Most In Series History

Following a country-influenced “American Idol” performance show, a record-breaking 122.4 million votes were cast, the highest number of votes in the show’s history. The finale brought the season’s total votes to nearly three-quarters of a billion, the most of any season. Since season one, “Idol” has received nearly 4.8 billion votes.
