Following months of rumors and loosely kept secrets, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg officially announced the social network’s new video chat feature, powered by the leading authority in the matter, Skype.

Facebook also rolled out group chat today, a feature that would allow a group of friends to plan an dinner, talk about a TV show or debate who is hotter Megan Fox or Rosie Huntington-Whitley. In addition, Zuckerberg also introduced an updated chat design that helps to find your most valued friends by creating a sidebar that lists the people you message most.
