There seems to be no end in sight for the locked out players of the NFL and NBA, but Funny Or Die has found a less costly solution for the former in their latest star-studded video “Field of Dreams 2: NFL Lockout,” starring “The Twilight Saga’s” Taylor Lautner. In the faux sequel to the 1989 classic, Lautner plays an Iowa corn farmer who hears voices telling him to build a football field in the middle of his acres of cornstalk. As he works hard to carve out space for a playing field, the aimless players of the NFL emerge, cueing cameos from Tony Gonzalez, Ray Lewis, and Dwight Freeney.

The hilarious three-minute trailer also features appearances by Dennis Haysbert of “24” fame playing James Earl Jones‘ character, and original “Field of Dreams” cast members Ray Liotta and Kevin Costner.

With a shirt on in every scene, it’s a nice change of pace to see Lautner not angrily tearing away his v-neck in search of a pale-faced, blood-sucking, insomniac. If this were a real movie, we’d definitely want to see it! Watch the full video below:
