Pia Toscano Career Timeline [VIDEO]
Pia Toscano was predicted to be one of the finalist during season 10 of America Idol; however, in a shocking turn, she was the 5th person voted off of the show. Everyone was surprised after her elimination but Pia has said, “I go a lot on feeling and what’s in my gut. After my performance I felt something weird. I said to my parents, ‘I kind of feel like I’m going to be in the bottom three tomorrow.’ When it happened I kind of expected it.” Pia took her elimination as a turning point in her life, and her career is finally blossoming.
Even though Pia’s time on American Idol was cut short, her career has taken off. She has a record label, a new hit single “This Time”, and has performed as various events including singling the National Anthem at the Memorial Day Concert on May 29, 2011, and performing “I’ll Stand By You” on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”.

Audience members errupted when Pia Toscano took the stage on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” March 29, 2011 to sing “I’ll Stand By You.” The crowd went wild after her performance, and host Tom Bergeron said, “I got to ask you, from this side of the hallway, how did you get voted off?” Pia responded modestly with, “Everything happens for a reason, I’m in a good place now, and it’s all good.” Watch her full perfomance on “Dancing with the Stars” below.
Pia Toscano has vocals that many people dream of. Her career is definately not over after American Idol, and in fact, perhaps her elimination came at the perfect time for her to reach her full potential, and might I say, she is sure on her way to becomming a singing sensation.
