Tom Felton Wants A Final Showdown Between Draco and Harry! [AUDIO]
Tom Felton of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II” dropped by the “On Air with Ryan Seacrest“ studio on Thursday to chat about the 10 year franchise, the fans, and how he would have ended it.
After playing Draco Malfoy for the past 10 years, Tom liked the films ending, but also had his own idea of how he would have liked to have seen the film end.
“I would like to have one final showdown with a few of the Gryffindors. It would have been nice to see one final battle between Draco and Harry, that would have been good.”
Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II” is one of the biggest movies in history, ever. Tom had this to say about the continued success of the films.
“Every year we were kind of expecting no one to turn up or less people to turn up at the premieres and events, but they have come out in the thousands every year. Because they have been so passionate over the years. I think it all comes down to the stories, people are still just so passionate about the stories.”
When you go to see “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ you will see the passion that the fans have, they dress up in the hats, the gloves, the glasses, and cast spells on each other. Tom got to experience this first hand while he was in New York recently.
“It was very cool, needless to say actually watching it with an American audience is a completely different experience to anywhere else. New York we missed half of the film because they were just screaming and cheering.”
It has been said that Tom will be one of the biggest and brightest stars to come out of Harry Potter and Tom had this to say about his character and the transition into future roles.
“I think I’ve been very lucky over the years, that Draco has had a very cool character throughout the 10 films. I look quite different from Draco and hopefully act quite different from Draco. So, I can see how it can be harder maybe for the other guys to kind of detach themselves from these roles. Hopefully it will be easier for me to step out of those shoes.”
