Ashton Kutcher’s ‘Two and a Half Men’ Character Revealed As….
Walden Schmidt an Internet billionaire! During the Television Critics’ Association summer press tour, CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler talked about Ashton Kutcher‘s new role he will be playing on the embatteld hit comedy series “Two and a Half Men.” Tassler layed to rest rumors that Kutcher may actually play a plastic-surgeried Charlie Harper or even the possbility of Kutcher playing himself.
Tassler informed the TCA press that Kutcher’s will portray “Walden Schmidt, and he is an Internet billionaire with a broken heart,” and that the Season 9 premiere “will be a two-parter [airing] over two weeks.” So tune in on Monday, Sept. 19, at 9/8c to see what develops.
Tassler, though, would not discuss the demise of Charlie Sheen’s alter ego, Charlie Harper. Tassler also did not answer questions as to how exactly Walden will be introduced to the other characters, but emphatically stated, “The great news is the show will be as irreverent as it’s always been.” Lastly adding, “There is great value in hiring an actor like Ashton Kutcher. He is extraordinarily professional, talented, gifted actor who comes with a tremendous amount of commitment and enthusiasm.”
