Taylor Swift Covers Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’ & Uncle Kracker’s ‘Smile’ [VIDEO]

Taylor Swift surprised the crowd in Grand Rapids, Michigan while performing there recently on her Speak Now tour. On July 28 the singer broke into an acoustic rendition of Eminem‘s ‘Lose Yourself’ and Uncel Kracker‘s “Smile.”

As soon as Taylor started strumming the opening chords of the Oscar Award winning song, made famous in the film “8 Mile,” the crowd went wild. Putting her rap skills to the test with a smile on her face, she showed us that she is more than just a country girl. Then went into a version of Uncle Kracker’s “Smile.” The reason for the tribute to Eminem and Uncle Cracker at the Grand Rapids show, Eminem grew up in Detroit, Michigan and Uncle Kracker, was raised in Harrison Township, Michigan.

Taylor has been covering hometown artists while on her concert tour. When she was in New Jersey she sang Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi and performed a medley of Canadian hits in Toronto, including songs by Justin Bieber and Alanis Morissette.
