Jay-Z Added To Lineup At Star-Studded iHeartRadio Music Festival [VIDEO]
Fresh from the release of his highly-anticipated “Otis” music video with Kanye West, hip hop legend Jay-Z is officially confirmed to perform at Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
Jay-Z will close the opening night of the two-day festival, scheduled to rock the MGM Grand on September 23 & 24. Selling out in a mere 10 minutes, the festival boasts an unprecedented lineup including Lady Gaga, Coldplay, The Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, Steven Tyler, Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Jane’s Addiction, John Mayer, David Guetta, Rascal Flatts, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, Sublime with Rome and special performances by Usher and Sting.
“When we conceived the iHeartRadio Music Festival we set out to break down boundaries between genres and assemble a collection of the biggest musicians in the world,” said Bob Pittman, Chairman of Media and Entertainment Platforms for Clear Channel. “Jay-Z embodies that range; he has had a defining influence on music, and the creative influence he continues to have on other artists cannot be overstated. Adding him to the line-up is yet one more reason the festival will be a once-in-a-lifetime music event.”
