China Bans Music By Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Katy Perry, Says Is Danger To National Security [AUDIO]

If you’re planning on vacationing in China, you might wanna delete Katy Perry, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga from your playlist. Because some of their music has officially been banned from the country!

China’s Ministry of Culture has branded 100 pop songs “a danger to national security,” including Katy’s “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” and Beyonce’s “Run the World (Girls).” Gaga actually tops the list with 6 tracks off “Born this Way” are being deemed forbidden.

Local websites have until September 15th to remove the songs! However, not all of the bans are newer releases. They also eliminated the Backstreet Boys 12-year-old hit “I Want It That Way.” Apparently, they don’t want it that way at all!
