With just a few weeks left before her former talk show will completely cease airing, the ‘Queen of Talk’ chats it up with Facebookers.

Oprah Winfrey sat down for an hour long interview with Sheryl Sandberg at the social media website’s California headquarters. Questions ranged from what Winfrey knows for sure, to how she is dealing with the low ratings on her Oprah Winfrey Network, a joint venture she launched with Discovery Communications earlier this year.

A candid Winfrey explained how she had never been afraid to take chances in life but when she agreed to launch her own network she would sometime wake up in the middle of the night clutching her chest in fear.

“Never had fear before I started this network. The fear is getting it [the network] right,” she said. “I’ve tried to surround myself with people who are all in. It’s not about creating more television shows, we are not creating a television network…it’s something much bigger than that.” Winfrey says running a network is a lot harder then what she imagined. “If anyone asks you do you want your own network, think about it!”

The entire interview wasn’t completely serious. During the ‘lightning round,’ Sandberg asked Winfrey a series of light-hearted questions. “Wine or Tequila?” asked Sandberg. “Tequila!!” replied Winfrey.Sandberg quickly shot back with another question, asking whether she preferred late nights or early mornings and is life about the journey or the destination. “Early mornings,” said Winfrey. “And life is definitely about the journey.”

Oprah will be back on the air on OWN in early October. Her new show ‘Oprah’s Lifeclass,’ launches October 10th at 8pm ET. She describes this show in the interview as being a compilation of her all time favorite life lessons.
