Christina, who plays a working mom in her new TV gig, is also a working mom in real life. Since, giving birth to her 8-month-old baby girl, Sadie, she doesn’t understand how people find the energy to have a life outside of parenting and working. She explains, “You know when you have a baby, the truth of the matter is, you really don’t go out anywhere. I mean, people manage, I don’t know how they do it. For me, I’m so tired at the end of the day, the last thing I want to do is get in the car and put lipstick on and go somewhere. It’s not in the cards at all.”

She’s excited to bring a different type of parenting show to NBC. She says, “It has sort of a different sense to it, I think. Correct me if I’m wrong, from what we’ve seen a lot of on tv, it takes a look at life from a different side than from the norm. Parenting from the norm.”

The funny gal and her TV husband played by Will Arnett, bring the show alive through their amazing chemistry. Christina shares, “He’s quite amazing. He’s really easy to work with, and we kind of flow off of each other really well. Which, I haven’t had that much experience with a co-star. I mean, I have. I’ve flowed off of people. There’s something about, maybe it’s in the dialogue, maybe it’s just kind of the way we are together as friends and co-workers. It flows really nicely.”

She continues to say about their relationship on set, “It was like that from day one. I think we get each other’s sense of humor, kind of get where the other person is going to be going with something. We kind of finish their thought off, basicially, which couples are like anyway. It really worked. And I hope it continues to work.”
