Ryan Gosling steals the hearts of many women when he stars in movies like “The Notebook,” but despite his heart throbbing roles, the “Crazy, Stupid, Love” actor doesn’t see himself as a sex symbol at all!

As reported in the Chicago Sun Times, Ryan says, “I’m not that good looking. I think I’m a pretty weird-looking guy. Every role I got up until ‘The Notebook’ [in 2004] was the weirdo, freak, psychopath, nerd, outsider character guy.”

Ryan’s new role in “The Ides of March” starring alongside George Clooney, is a more serious role for the 30-year-old actor. He plays a communications director for Clooney’s presidential campaign. He says, “It’s a big dilemma for him to figure out what to do when he finds out some interesting facts about his candidate,” Gosling reveals. “I can’t really say more except it’s a morality tale.”
