Salma Hayek Talks ‘Puss In Boots’ [AUDIO]
Salma Hayek called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Monday to talk about her new movie “Puss In Boots,” her love of animals, and addresses that her and her husband have only had one fight.
It has been reported that hot blooded Latina Salma and her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, who have been together for six years and have only had one fight. She confirms that this is true. However, the one fight was apparently was pretty bad and even involved a separation. “Luckily, we haven’t had many more,” she says. Then adds, “I’m hot blooded, but I don’t like to fight. I’m not confrontational. I look like I am. I like to fight for fun, but I don’t find it fun to fight for real.”
Salma is also an aivd animal lover. She tells us that she has four alpacas, five parrots, ducks, twenty chickens, two guinea pigs and a cat. It is a bit of a farm, but Salma’s daughter [Valentina] loves it. “She is out there with her boots feeding the alpacas. They are so gentle and they have eyelashes like Valentina, they could be cousins,” Salma laughs.
Salma was recently in Miami for the premiere of her latest project “Puss In Boots.” She tells us, “It was raining and that is never fun when you are in Miami, but at least it was hot rain.” In the movie Salma is the voice of Kitty Softpaws. Salma explains that her charater is a very cool cat even though she is an outlaw. Salma says what she really loved about the character was that she was really strong.
“In reality they are equals, even though she thinks that she is better than him and that he is very overrated. They fight a lot, but they have to work together. You know it is always fun when you are doing an adventure movie and you know that there is going to be a lot of laughs that are going to come out of that dynamic.”
“Puss In Boots” opens in theaters on Friday, October 28th.
