Antonio Banderas’ Family Lived With Secret Service For A Week Before Presidential Visit [AUDIO]
Antonio Banderas called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” Friday to talk about hosting the President of the United States in his home, as well as what its like to star in Dreamworks spin-off hit, “Puss In Boots.”
Although Antonio Banderas has been busy “walking the cat all over the world” promoting the #1 film in America, he recently made time to entertain President Obama in his own home.
“We were living with the Secret Service for a week. My wife changed the furniture in the house, I don’t know how many times. The floor never looked so shiny. It was unbelievable. How many times can you say you’ve had the President of the United States in your house? It was an extraordinary experience especially for me. I came to this country with not one penny in my pocket, and suddenly 20 years later the President is coming to my house!”
More importantly did the President use Antonio’s bathroom? “I don’t know! I suppose at some point since he was there for four hours. But when he left we were saying, ‘He was just here. Don’t touch that chair he was sitting in that chair.’ So just in case anyone came to visit we would tell them, “The President sat in THAT chair!”
Shortly after visiting his home the President visited Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles and ordered “#9 The Country Boy” which includes 3 wings, waffles, potato and a salad. “I don’t know why he would do that, because we had a wonderful dinner here. Oh well, maybe he didn’t like what we were serving?”
