Adam Sandler Talks Shaving His Legs For Al Pacino In Upcoming Film ‘Jack and Jill’ [AUDIO]
Adam Sandler called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Thursday to talk about his new movie “Jack and Jill,” working with Al Pacino, and whether or not he would like to be the next host of the Oscars.
Due to,Eddie Murphy stepped down as host of The 84th Academy Awards earlier this week, would Adam like to fill the spot? “There is no reason for me to be doing that. No, whoever has got to do it, I’m proud of them, whoever has the courage to go out there,” he tells us. “Usually during the Oscars, I fall asleep, then the next morning I go, ‘Who won?'”
In his new movie “Jack and Jill,” Adam plays Jack Sadelstein, an L.A. ad exec dreading the annual holiday visit of his twin sister Jill, also played by Sandler. “The bra digging into the back and the eyelashes were the pain in the butt the most,” he says. As for his legs, “I shaved them up nice and made them pretty for Pacino.”
This was Adam’s first time working with Al Pacino. “He’s a really funny guy and he just is a really cool guy to hang out with.” Recalling their first scene together he says, “He looked cool, he’s in a leather jacket, he looks like Al Pacino. I walk out dressed as a woman, considering how ugly I looked, it was weird.”
