Get your credit cards, your long Christmas wish list, and your running shoes for the biggest shopping day of the year: Black Friday. This post-Thanksgiving, all-day event brings all sorts of deals from almost every store imaginable, and we have the Top 5 we think will be the major hot spots for the big day. These stores below will be sure to be stock-full of nifty products, but being able to snag these products might be the problem because of huge crowds and endless lines. Find out here where you should be handing in your cash for sweet deals:
Toys “R” Us
For those toy-loving shoppers, Toys “R” Us is keeping their lips sealed until Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, to tell of the huge savings shoppers can cash in on. With doors opening at 9pm Thursday until 1pm on Friday, they are offering deals like a free $50 gift card with a purchase of any Apple iPod Touch. For that perfect Christmas gift for any child, they are stripping the price from $319.99 to $199.99 for a Power Wheels Boss and Barbie Ford Mustang Ride-On. That’s a $120 saving!
Gap Inc – Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime, and Athleta
Starting Wednesday to Friday, Gap Inc., which include Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime, and Athleta will have 60% off all merchandise! That includes Gap womens’ jeans for $19, GapKids sweaters for $15, and BabyGap pro-fleece arch hoodies for $15. Even more, Gap will be offering long-sleeved adult T-shirts for only $10 and 60% off GapKids graphic tees. This is one store where you can snag holiday presents for the entire family!
In addition, 80% of Old Navy’s stores will open at midnight where they will be holding a three-day “Gobblepalooza” shopping experience. Customers will be able to wear 3-D glasses and find secret messages around the store, giving extra discounts and super savings! Plus, the first people in line will also receive $40 for Old Navy products and other gifts.
While the megastore will have tons of savings in home, clothing, and electronic products, there are particular discounts we want to take advantage of! For those gamers, they are offering a Nintendo Wii Dance Bundle for $179 which includes the console, game, and Nintendo music cd, which saves $30. An even bigger saving is a whopping $100 off discount for an Xbox360 game console! In addition, the store is offering free shipping for electronic products of $45 or more beginning November 17th. As for when these product savings go into effect, toys, home items, and clothing begin 10pm Thanksgiving day, electronic items begin midnight, and all other items begin 8am on Friday morning.
The online megastore started their savings weeks ago before the big Black Friday event, with discounts and sales that will make any shopper’s budget more manageable. The biggest savings we discovered were on a number of smart phones that only cost a penny! According to Amazon.com (via PCMag), “For a limited time only, all phones from Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T with a new line of service are on sale for a penny and include standard free two-day shipping.” Hmm, iPhone 4s anyone!? Also, the website is giving a 50% discount on a Samsung 55-inch 3D LED HDTV, bringing the price down to $1,530! Make sure to check out the website for a full listing of all of its sales!
