Ryan Seacrest Spreads Christmas Cheer To A Hardworking Mother & Her Two Daughters [AUDIO]
This morning on “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” Nicole from Norco sent a letter to the radio ranch nominating her old boss Michelle who can’t make ends meet. Because of her long commute from Simi Valley to Ontario, she cannot afford Christmas presents for her two lovely daughters, Amy and Ashley, and has had to resort to feeding her daughters canned food due to her money going towards the gas bill.
Read Nicole’s letter below:
Hey Ryan! I am writing to nominate my old boss, Michelle. She has two amazing daughters, Amy and Ashley. Michelle is the store manager at a children’s store at the Ontario Mills Mall and has been there about 3 years now.
Michelle travels almost everyday from Simi Valley to Ontario. The money she is making is just going back into her gas tank and bills; leaving little money for her and the girls.
Recently her cable and internet had got shut off, and she was so far behind in payments that there was nothing she could do. Her friend was able to pay some money down to get it back on. She has a great group of people surrounding her and helping her but it’s hard to find strength within yourself when all you can afford to put on the table for dinner is a can of Spaghetti Os.
Michelle has an amazing heart, and has been there for me when I needed her. She is one of the hardest working women I have come across, and I am glad to say that I was able to work for her.
Ryan if you can please help me give her what I cannot, I would really appreciate it and I know Michelle and the girls would love it too!
After finding out the big news, Michelle couldn’t be more than grateful: “I don’t even know how to say thank you. We were just talking how I can’t even afford to get them a Christmas tree this year because I wouldn’t have the money.” Thanks to Ryan, he is making the holiday season just a little bit brighter for Michelle and her family by sending her a $500 gas card and a $1000 gift card!
