The Adele train has been full steam ahead for most of 2011, and shows no sign of stopping as we head into 2012. The British songstress is up for six Grammys including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year with her hit album 21 as the highest selling album of the century in the UK ,and now iTunes has named her the year’s top seller.

Not only did Adele have the highest selling song with ‘Rolling In The Deep’ but she also had the highest selling album of the year with ’21.’ Not to mention Apple has consequently named her iTunes Artist of the Year.
