Hugh Laurie Would Like To See ‘House’ Clear Two Decades [AUDIO]
Hugh Laurie called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Thursday to talk about his new movie “Arthur Christmas,” the longevity of his TV show “House,” and his holiday plans.
Hugh has been starring in the hit show “House” on FOX for the past eight seasons, but there has been talk that this may be the last season for the show. However, Hugh tells us that it is too soon to say.
“We’re still wetting our finger and sticking it up in the air to see which way the wind is blowing, and lots of things to be taken into account. It may very well be or we may drive on, and see if we can make clear two decades,” he says. “we all are very proud of the shows we’re doing now and I hope the people enjoy them.”
The hit animated holiday movie “Arthur Christmas” is out an theaters, and you can hear Hugh as the voice of Steve, the son of Santa. In the movie Steve is trying to revolutionize the way Santa delivers gift. “It’s a glimpse behind the curtain of Christmas to see how it all works. It is a very funny film. It was a real pleasure to do. I actually had a great time, it was a blast,” Hugh tells us.
For the holidays Hugh tells us that he is looking forward to going to the U.K. for a few days. “I would love it here too [CA], of course, but it’s nice to see a bit of snow on the ground for Christmas. I haven’t quite got used to the idea of Christmas in 85 degrees,” he says.
