Pop star pregnancies, legal actions, and weddings of the year defined pop culture in 2011. It was hard to narrow it down to only 26, but here they are, just in case, you missed a few.

Victoria and David Beckham welcomed their first baby girl, Harper, in July. The Beckham family were overjoyed to add a second female into their household. The fashionable parents gave Harper her middle name, Seven, to represent David’s Manchester United soccer jersey number.

Charlie Sheen topped 2010’s pop culture list when he got fired from Two and a Half Men. He’s making the list again declaring “winning” for all. Charlie debuted his memorable Ustream internet show, Sheen’s Korner, back in March. The show that was intimately based has yet to return.

Chris Brown musically had a successful year, but when he took the stage with Good Morning America correspondent, Robin Roberts, back in March things got heated. Brown went into a rage when Roberts wanted to discuss the infamous Rihanna abuse scandal. The singer stormed off the stage and broke a window at the studio in anger.

Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison definitely topped the list for most controversial wedding. He’s 51 and she’s 16. That’s a 35-year-age difference. The couple, who wed in May, say the wedding had nothing to do with publicity but had everything to do with true love.

Music and fashion mogul, Jessica Simpson, led the media on for throughout 2011 about her protruding baby bump. Throughout the summer, tabloids suspected that Jessica was preggers. Simpson finally confirmed what everyone already knew by cleverly dressing up as a “mummy” for Halloween. Jessica and her fiancé, NFL player Eric Johnson, are expected to welcome their first child in early spring.

Kim Kardashian Kris Humphries Split

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries had one of the most publicized weddings of the year, and people were sitting at the edge of their seats waiting to see Kim’s Vera Wang wedding dress. The marriage lasted a mere 72 days, but it was still one of the year’s most extravagant televised specials.

Lady Gaga dressing up as her male alter ego, Jo Calderone, was a highlight within itself, but when you put Gaga and Britney Spears on the same stage, that becomes a moment that defined 2011. MTV’s Video Music Awards featured the two teasing the world as they stared into each other’s eyes and almost broke into some lip action. Almost counts, right?
