Demi Lovato Gives Her Opinion On Kim Kardashian
The “Skyscraper” singer, Demi Lovato, was able to overcome a very challenging 2011, and during a recent exclusive interview with Seventeen Magazine the nineteen-year-old credits her recovery to her support system of friends including fellow Disney alums Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus, as well as twitter support from Taylor Swift and phone calls from Kim Kardashian.
Demi talks openly about her recovery explaining, “I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs, I don’t throw up after my meals, I don’t starve myself. There’s nothing that I do that I feel ashamed of.” Rather, the young starlet insists “sober is sexy,” and that she now is able to enjoy a Friday night of “staying in and be in the hot tub and have people over to watch movies.”
Demi has been able to achieve this with help from her loved ones which at times became “brutal” saying, “Miley and I are very strong-headed, so when we fight, it’s brutal and we’re like, ‘We’re never going to be friends again!’ Then two days later, we’re like, ‘I love you and I miss you!’”
Demi and Miley have even gone on fight fat talk together on Twitter and Demi reiterates “I’m not suppose to be stick thin – my body’s not made to be that way. I feel like I have a good butt. I don’t have boobs, but I got a butt!”
However the singer says she never fights with Selena Gomez, “She’s not a confrontational person at all. Both of them will never leave my life no matter what happens, because we’ve been through so much together.”
Also “Kim Kardashian, the busiest woman on the planet, took time to call me. She was there for me when not many people were. I could count on my hands how many people were there for me. So the people who were, I didn’t forget it.”
Demi expressed gratitude to other celebrities such as Taylor Swift for “tweeting ‘Pray for Demi,’ which I thought was really awesome of her.”
