A Capella Super-Group Pentatonix Covers ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ [VIDEO]

If you haven’t already heard of Pentatonix, jump on the bandwagon already! This amazing group of 5 talented teens recently won NBC’s “The Sing-Off“, beating out hundreds of a cappella groups from across the country. You might recognize the most recent song they covered, Goyte’sSomebody That I Used To Know,” because it recently gained viral fame after being performed by Walk Off The Earth. That group featured 5 people on one instrument– Pentatonix covers the same song with no instruments!

Pentatonix was started by three core singers, Kirstie, Mitch, and Scott, who sang together in high school. When they decided to audition for “The Sing-Off,” they contacted YouTube sensation Kevin and also found an incredible bass singer named Avi. Together, they create a full sound, whether they are covering Lady Gaga, Sugarland, or Usher.
