Stars Mourn Loss Of Superstar Whitney Houston [VIDEO]
Today the world lost one of music’s most beloved stars, RnB legend Whitney Houston. During Whitney’s career she has sold more than 200 million albums and singles worldwide, her songs stretched far across the globe touching the lives and souls of millions.
Today in the wake of tragedy, many of Hollywood’s elite took to the internet to express the deep remorse for the loss of Whitney Houston. Many celebrities have shared how their music would not be the same today without Houston. “I found my voice singing Whitney Houston. Today I lost my Idol” Jessica Simpson tweeted (@JessicaSimpson) upon hearing the sad news of Houston’s death.
At the 2011 Grammy Awards Lady GaGa even mentioned Houston during in her acceptance speech for “Best Pop Vocal Album” saying: “I wanted to thank Whitney, because when I wrote ‘Born This Way‘ I imaged she was singing it.”
