Jay-Z Introduces New Artist Rita Ora [AUDIO]

21-year-old Rita Ora is a UK native with a history of singing but her music is now traveling through airwaves to the United States. The young artist has just released her new single “Party and Bullsh*t.”

The single is from her debut album from Roc Nation, which is owned by music tycoon Jay-Z. Having Jay as a mentor certainly has its perks, as he was the one to shine the light on Rita by introducing her on New York-based radio station Z100.

According to Global Grind, Rita caught Jay-Z’s attention when an A&R rep told Roc Nation about “a soulful singing UK girl.” Rita flew over to New York to meet Jay-Z and later appeared in his music video for “Young Forever.”
