UPDATE: ROUND 1 VOTING IS NOW CLOSED. CHECK BACK ON FRIDAY, MARCH 9 TO VOTE IN ROUND 2!

As we near the highly-anticipated unveiling of the first “Hunger Games” film, we felt it was only appropriate to prepare the best way we know how — by injecting a little celebrity sauce into it!

For three weeks we’re bringing “The Hunger Games” to Hollywood and throwing 24 of your favorite celebs into the virtual arena to battle it out for your votes! As readers of the book already know, each of the 12 districts of Panem must send one boy and one girl to fight to the death in the arena for The Capitol’s annual Hunger Games. While our version features far less bloodshed, it’s just as brutal as we’re cutting eight celebrity tributes every week leading up to the film’s release on Friday, March 23. The districts are as follows:

DISTRICT 1: Pretty Little Liars – Lucy Hale & Ian Harding
DISTRICT 2: Jersey Shore – Snooki & Pauly D
DISTRICT 3: American Idol – Jennifer Lopez & Steven Tyler
DISTRICT 4: Hip Hop – Nicki Minaj & Drake
DISTRICT 5: Vampire Diaries – Nina Dobrev & Ian Somerhalder
DISTRICT 6: Tween – Demi Lovato & Justin Bieber
DISTRICT 7: Pop – Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars
DISTRICT 8: Reality TV – Kim Kardashian & Ben Flajnik
DISTRICT 9: Bloggers – Perez Hilton & Necole Bitchie
DISTRICT 10: Late Night – Jimmy Fallon & Chelsea Handler
DISTRICT 11: Athletes – Lamar Odom & Serena Williams
DISTRICT 12: YouTube – iJustine & Ray William Johnson

Don’t forget, they need YOUR VOTES to survive, so cast one below then share this link (http://bit.ly/HWHunger) on Twitter and Facebook like a celebrity’s life depends on it (because it does). Check back here to RyanSeacrest.com this Friday to see if your favorite tribute survived the first cut or met their untimely demise. May the odds be ever in your favor…

VOTING IS NOW CLOSED.
