During Wednesday’s performance show, the judges critiqued Shannon Magrane’s missed note and Elise Testone’s wrong song choice, so it was no surprise to see them in the bottom two. But Erika Van Pelt pulled off a solid performance of “I Believe In You and Me,” so many people seemed shocked to see her in danger of going home.

The bottom 3 boys were Jeremy Rosado, Jermaine Jones and Joshua Ledet. Judge Steven Tyler told Jermaine after Wednesday’s performance that the song he chose fit him “like an Armani suit,” and Jennifer Lopez loved Joshua’s performance of “I Wish”. Out of the three, only Jeremy seemed to have had a weak performance.
