Lana Del Rey Releases Eerie Video For ‘Blue Jeans’ [VIDEO]

March 19, 2012 2:15 pm

Songstress Lana Del Rey is still enjoying a successful career even after the controversy of her “Saturday Night Live” performance in January. The singer dropped a new video today for her song “Blue Jeans” from the album Born to Die. Last week, Lana tweeted out the cover art for the video as a teaser.

The video is black and white and features Lana and a tattooed man, Bradley Soileau, who was also in her video for the song “Born To Die.” Bradley dives into a pool while Lana sensually sings on the patio in a white bathing suit, and later two alligators are revealed to be swimming around in the pool as well. It’s an eerie video for an eerie song.

Back in 2011, Lana self-released a video for “Blue Jeans” on her YouTube channel. Her taped performance of “Video Games” will air during the “American Idol” results show this Thursday, March 22nd on Fox at 8/7 C.
