Kim Kardashian Is Staying Focused & Positive In The Face Of Recent Headlines [AUDIO]
Kim Kardashian called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Tuesday to talk about the launch of her new fragrance, and to addresses recent headlines regarding marriage, adoption, and ‘Mad Men‘ star Jon Hamm.
On Jon Hamm’s Recent Comment:
Jon Hamm recently spewed a few unkind words directed at some reality stars, Kim included. To which she responded, “I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, not everyone takes the same path in life. We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another.” Ryan then commended her on how brilliantly she handled the situation.
Kim explained her response saying, “I just feel like, to be honest, it’s all about trying to stay focused and keeping everything positive. It really takes a lot more energy and effort to be harsh than to say something nice and be positive.”
On The Kanye West Marriage Rumor:
Rumors have been swirling that there may be marriage in the future for Kim and Kanye West. “I think I’m still married,” Kim said. “I’m really not dating right now at all. I’m really just focusing on work. I know I always say this, but I’m trying to just get through my situation and just have fun.”
On The Rumor That She Is Adopting a Baby:
“I don’t even know where that came from. What’s so crazy is…the magazines could easily call and ask, and we would say yes or no. But no, that’s not true. I’ve heard so many ridiculous things and to be honest I used to read all the magazines and watch things. I don’t even look at any of that anymore. I’ve taken my Google alerts off my phone!”
On Her New Fragrance True Reflection:
“This is my 4th fragrance and I am so excited about this one. This one reminded me of something that my dad had given me a long time ago, it’s strong, but it’s sweet, I love white florals. So, that will always be, from my signature scent to everything else, but this one is so different than my other three that I really think everyone is going to love it.”
On Thursday, March 22nd at The London West Hollywood, Kim will host an exclusive event introducing her 4th fragrance True Reflection, which will serve as a benefit for Dress for Success Worldwide, a non-profit that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women.
