Jennifer Lawrence Pouts For The Cover of Rolling Stone [VIDEOS]
The 21-year-old “Hunger Games” star posed casually with shaggy waves, a see-through white tank top and jeans in the midst of the California desert. She earned herself the title of “America’s Kick-Ass Sweetheart” and, well, she’s just not your average superstar drowned in fame. In this April 2012 issue, a few of Lawrence’s friends spoke up on their first encounters with the starlet.
Actor Woody Harrelson who plays Katniss’ mentor in “The Hunger Games” recalled the first time they met for Rolling Stone. “I was on my bus, and on my bus I have a yoga swing,” Harrelson said. “Jennifer comes on, and she goes, ‘Hi Woody, I’m J–is that a sex swing?’ [That was] her first sentence to me.”
Co-star Josh Hutcherson equally admits his extraordinary first meeting with Lawrence. She called him over to greet him before filming, but instead muttered, “Think about a catheter going in…ouch!” Their quick hello eventually progressed into a 45-minute conversation on zombies and the apocalypse.
Zoe Kravitz, daughter of “The Hunger Games'” Cinna played by Lenny Kravitz, told Rolling Stone about her first time visiting Lawrence at her humble abode. Lawrence answered the door in–get ready–nothing but a towel! “She’s like, ‘Come in, sorry, you’re early. I was about to shower.’ And she drops her towel and gets in the shower, and starts shaving her legs, totally naked.” said Zoe. “She was like, ‘Are we here yet? Is this OK?’ And I was like, ‘I guess we’re there!'” The two had only met a few times other than the time they worked together for “X-Men: First Class.”
Although this blonde bombshell’s fame has shot up sky-high these past months, she continues to remain as average as she can, previously admitting she does not wish for as much fame as Twilight’s Kristen Stewart.
