Will Ferrell’s Sequel to ‘Anchorman’ Will Start Shooting in Early 2013 [AUDIO]

Will Ferrell announced last week on “Conan” that he has been given a green light to make the sequel to his cult comedy classic “Anchorman.” He will reprise his role as the scotch-guzzling San Diego news anchor, Ron Burgundy, known for his jazz flute skills and irresistible manliness.

Steve Carell and Paul Rudd will also return to play fellow 70s newsmen, Brick Tamland and Brian Fantana. So, when will they shoot it? We’ve learned production begins in early 2013. Eight years after “Anchorman” came out, there are fans who still constantly quote it. It’s safe to say they are going be psyched for some new material!
