Jane Lynch called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Tuesday to talk about her new movie “The Three Stooges” and the return of “Glee.”

On The Return of “Glee”:
“It’s been a very, very, very, long time. I don’t know who’s idea that was, but we’re back,” Jane tells us. We found out before the hiatus that Jane’s character Sue Sylvester was pregnant. “We do not find out about the father. I don’t think Ryan Murphy has decided who the father is yet. So, it’s this big mystery and this big secret, but I’m about 3 or 4 months along, so I’m showing.”

On Who The Father Could Be:
“I’ve been bouncing it around in my head and I think Figgins would be good. I thought a cool idea would be going back to a sperm bank from the 1990s and getting Will Schuesters sperm, even though he told me no,” she says. On the idea of a new character being introduced as the father Jane said, “Somebody like, Benicio Del Toro I think would be great.” Or could it possibly be Ricky Martin? “Yes, another hot Hispanic guy. You know that kind of went through my mind. Because it was that same episode. So, you never know. In fact, that was kind of my first guess.”

On “The Three Stooges” Movie:
“What I think is so great about this version is that it is very close to the original version. It’s all about slapstick and smacking each other in the face with hammers and all sorts of stuff and nobody gets hurt. So, it’s that great physical comedy that was kind of sophomoric and very infantile that we just can’t help but laugh at.”

SHe continued, “The guys who play the three stooges in our movie Chris Diamantopoulos, Will Sasso, and Sean Hayes are absolutely amazing they worked out all their bits themselves. There’s one that seems to go on for like 2 minutes, that you just don’t know how they did it, but they did. They’re pretty amazing.”

“Glee” returns tonight on FOX at 8/7c and “The Three Stooges” opens in theaters everywhere Friday, April 13th.
