Maroon 5 Reveals New Cover Art For ‘Overexposed’ [PHOTO]
Maroon 5 is prepping for their upcoming release of Overexposed, the band’s fourth studio album. The psychedelic artwork echoes the pop music world today: full of faces, egos, images and names. So many that you just can’t focus on one!
Adam Levine knows this world all too well as not only being a musician, but one of the judges of NBC’s The Voice as well. The band will also be joined by Wiz Khalifa on Monday’s episode to perform their new song “Payphone,” which will then become available on iTunes later that night.
“At this point in our career I think it was a good thing to completely mix up our process and it yielded good results, as well as a more collaborative spirit within the band. We wanted to make something that sounded contemporary with the elements of a lot of early eras of pop music. This is our most ‘pop’ record ever and we weren’t shy about really going for it,” said Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine.
