Sean Hayes Was Shocked To See Snooki In ‘The Three Stooges’ Movie [AUDIO]
On The Cast Of “Jersey Shore” Being In The “Three Stooges” Movie:
“I was like: ‘Oh, Snooki.’ When I read it I was like: ‘What?’ You read it and your going through the scene like: ‘This is hilarious.’ I won’t say how, but he [Moe] ends up on the Jersey Shore with the cast, as one of the cast members. In the old shorts, they used to parody the times. They used to parody war or the westerns of their time. So, while this isn’t a war or a western we included pop references that are of now, which is the Jersey Shore and other things in the movie.”
On Auditioning For The Movie:
“They [Farrelly brothers] didn’t want anybody coming in who didn’t want to audition for the part. I went in and saw a couple names, I was like: ‘Wow, you guys have to audition too.’ Thank God they did that, because it made us work harder. I had 3 or 4 auditions,” Sean tells us. “I think one of the funniest oxymoron’s to this day is, movie career. Nobody has a career, it’s literally project to project. I love when people in the media say: ‘I don’t know about his career.’ Nobody has a career! Will Smith has a career, that’s about it.”
On Playing The Role of Larry:
“It was a lot of work, it was very challenging, but very rewarding. I had to shave my head bald, twice a day, everyday, for 3 months. Getting this part was a great excuse to watch all of those old shorts, we all did. We just sat in our trailers everyday and just watched endless amounts of shorts and added some of the old routines actually in the new movie.”
“The Three Stooges” opens in theaters everywhere April 13th!
