Every year, the Coachella Music Festival delivers at least one unforgettable moment in live music, from Prince tearing up the stage to Madonna reviving the 80s, this year’s desert concert saw a revival of a different kind.

He’s one of hip hop’s most celebrated rappers and despite passing away over 15 years ago, Tupac Shakur rocked Coachella last night. Looking beyond ripped and not a day over 25, Tupac took the stage with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg for an epic performance that looked like something straight out of “Back to the Future.”

Tupac was resurrected using advanced holograms, in what many were calling an eerie yet captivating performance of “Hail Mary” and “2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted” with Snoop. As if the hologram wasn’t enough, fans were thrown for a real loop when Tupac gave the crowd a genuine shout out, saying “what the f— is up Coachella?!” Yeah, he NAME-CHECKED the festival that started three years after his death.
