The Olympics, which are exactly 100 days away, are just as thrilling and exhilarating as any blockbuster action flick and are full of tear-jerking, heart-warming moments that rival even the best Oscar-winning drama. The athletes that rock their respective sports are celebrities in their own right — attractive, talented and inspirational. But what if someone were to make a film about this summer’s best American Olympic athletes? We picked through and found the celebrity doppelgangers for 7 of the most promising men and women on the US team.

Lea Michele as Jordyn Wieber

Lea is practically a dead ringer for the famous gymnast even though the athlete is nine years younger than the “Glee” actress at age 16! Still, they share the same small body type, smile and dark hair. Now Lea just has to master flips on a balance beam, because Jordyn is a prodigy and in 2011, took home the gold in team and individual all-around at the World Championships.

Channing Tatum as Ryan Lochte

Similar in age and muscle tone (swoon!) these guys share the jawline and six pack necessary to be an Olympic heartthrob. Ryan’s biopic would feature the struggle to out swim his famous friend and rival, Michael Phelps, in London. Ryan and Michael swam together and won a gold in the 2008 Olympics, and the former has beat the latter outside of the Olympics, but his aim in 2012 is to win an individual gold against Michael.

John Krasinski as Michael Phelps

This champion is just three gold medals away from being the most decorated Olympian ever. His insane swimming talent drew international attention during the 2008 Olympics when he won the most gold medals in a single games: 8! For the movie about Phelps’ rise to fame, Krasinski would have to do some serious working out, but he looks similar enough to pull it off.

Brie Larson as Missy Franklin

Missy is just 16, a year older than Phelps was when he started his spectacular career at the 2000 Olympics. She’s a newbie at the games but has won three gold medals at the World Aquatics Championship. This bubbly, smiling teenager would be well-played by “21 Jump Street’s” Brie Larson who can handle cute and fierce at the same time.

Keke Palmer as Allyson Felix

Allyson is a track and field star who won gold during a team relay in 2008, and won silver on her own in the 200 meter race. Allyson is done being second best and is bringing her A-game to London this summer. Nickelodeon star Keke Palmer would be the best choice to play the athlete in the biopic where she’s determined to take gold in the 200 meter race.

Demi Lovato as Misty May-Treanor

Misty is an Olympic veteran in beach volleyball, and she helped the US take home gold not just in 2004 but also in the 2008 games! Demi could play her from the younger years all the way to the London event. For those who follow sports, you know that Misty competes with her partner, Kerri Walsh, played by…

Blake Lively as Kerri Walsh

Blake is the perfect choice to portray tall, blonde and buff Kerri. We know from “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” that she can play the loving best friend and also the intense, balls-to-the-wall athlete. Kerri and Misty are going for a third year of gold at this year’s event.

Do you think these celebs look enough like their Olympian counterparts? Which one of these fictional films would you buy a ticket to see? Hit the comments and let us know.
