Jason Derulo Needs Your Help Voting On Lyrics

Jason Derulo

Pop superstar Jason Derulo is holding a contest with Coca-Cola where you the fans get to write a lyric fr his new song “Undefeated.” He will perform the song live on May 22nd on part 1 of the “American Idol” finale. They have selected the finalists and you can vote for your favorites at americanidol.com/perfect_harmony.

Jason knows a thing or two about writing a great song, so we asked him what does he think makes for a great lyric? “A great lyric just has to be the truth. If it comes from the heart and it causes people to feel something that’s what makes a great song,” he tells us. Jason’s performance on “American Idol” will be his first since breaking his neck while rehearsing for his tour.

Gotye’s Music Video Masterpieces

Gotye

So, imagine you and a friend naked for 23 hours in front of a camera crew. According to Gotye, that is more or less what it was like shooting the video for his hit track “Somebody That I used To Know” with his collaborator Kimbra. However, there is no actual nudity…since they are covered in body paint.

For his follow-up single “Easy Way Out,” Gotye has released another artistic music video, which he hopes will leave your “cerebral cortex sliding down the computer screen.”. The video follows the singer throughout his daily routine from waking up in the morning and having coffee, to going to work and then ending his day back where he started in bed.

Check out both videos below!
