Melissa Rycroft and her husband Tye Strickland usually come off as a loving, happy and cheerful Southern couple. In this mega-trailer for the first season of “Melissa & Tye,” you can get a sneak peek of both the good moments, like Melissa booking her first photo shoot, and the bad ones, like Tye regularly having to leave his family in LA and return to Dallas.

The sweethearts lean on each other to raise their daughter Ava and deal with the craziness of LA, including the insane weight loss programs and ideas that some people use. When someone brings up a tapeworm diet, Melissa laughingly confirms, “We’re not in Dallas anymore!”

But all joking aside, sometimes things get real while the cameras are rolling. Tye and Melissa begin to wonder if moving to LA and spending part of the week apart was really the best plan for their relationship, and at the end of the trailer, Tye and Melissa seem to get some bad news. “What?” she cries out, “Stop it, stop filming. Please stop filming. Put the camera down!”

If you loved the supertrailer, you can enjoy the entire first episode below, and don’t forget to catch the next episode of “Melissa & Tye” which airs on CMT, Fridays at 9:30/8:30c.
