Watch The Final Six American Idol Contestants Honor Queen [VIDEO]

After last week’s shocking elimination of Colton Dixon, the remaining six American Idol contestants realize that the competition is coming down to the wire. The pressure was laid on hard and the bar was set high as each contestant sang one of Queen’s classic hits.

Jessica Sanchez (@JSanchezAI11) performed “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen at the Top 6 performance show. Jessica continues to do what she does best and shines as one of the top contenders this season.

Jessica Sanchez (@JSanchezAI11) performed “Dance With My Father” by Luther Vandross at the Top 6 performance show. Jennifer proclaimed that this was the most beautiful performance of this song she has ever heard.

Skylar Laine (@SLaineAI11) performed “Tattoos On This Town” by Jason Aldean at the Top 6 performance show. Skylar delivered a powerful performance with vocals way beyond her age of 18-years-old.

Skylar Laine (@SLaineAI11) performed “The Show Must Go On” by Queen at the Top 6 performance show. Skylar continues the with another great performance, can she do no wrong?

Joshua Ledet (@JLedetAI11) performed “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” by Queen at the Top 6 performance show. He received a standing ovation from all three judges for an outstanding performance.

Joshua Ledet (@JLedetAI11) performed “Ready For Love” by India Arie at the Top 6 performance show. Joshua delivers another emotional performance and receives his second standing ovation of the night.

Elise Testone (@ETestoneAI11performed “I Want It All” by Queen at the Top 6 performance show. Elise wow’s the crowd as she shows rock is a great match for her singing capabilities.

Elise Testone (@ETestoneAI11) performed “Bold As Love” by Jimi Hendrix at the Top 6 performance show. Her second performance was not up to par with her first.

Phillip Phillips (@PPhillipsAI11) performed “The Stone” by the Dave Matthews Band at the Top 6 performance show. Phillip has continued to prove his ability to take a song and make it his own.

Phillip Phillips (@PPhillipsAI11) performed “Fat Bottomed Girls” by Queen at the Top 6 performance show.  The Judges had mixed feeling about this performance by Phillip’s. Jennifer was worried about taking a “risk” this late in the competition, while Randy argued otherwise.

Hollie Cavanagh (@CavanaghAI11) performed “Save Me” by Queen at the Top 6 performance show. This was a good performance but it lacked the luster needed to win this competition.

Hollie Cavanagh (@CavanaghAI11) performed “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus at the Top 6 performance show. Hollie makes up for her previous mediocre performance this evening with this heartfelt  performance. She received her first ever standing ovation from the judges.
