After last week’s shocking elimination ofColton Dixon, the remaining six American Idol contestants realize that the competition is coming down to the wire. The pressure was laid on hard and the bar was set high as each contestant sang one of Queen’s classic hits.
Jessica Sanchez (@JSanchezAI11) performed “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen at the Top 6 performance show. Jessica continues to do what she does best and shines as one of the top contenders this season.
Phillip Phillips (@PPhillipsAI11) performed “Fat Bottomed Girls” by Queen at the Top 6 performance show. The Judges had mixed feeling about this performance by Phillip’s. Jennifer was worried about taking a “risk” this late in the competition, while Randy argued otherwise.
Hollie Cavanagh (@CavanaghAI11) performed “Save Me” by Queen at the Top 6 performance show. This was a good performance but it lacked the luster needed to win this competition.
Hollie Cavanagh (@CavanaghAI11) performed “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus at the Top 6 performance show. Hollie makes up for her previous mediocre performance this evening with this heartfelt performance. She received her first ever standing ovation from the judges.
Tune into Fox tomorrow night at 8 P.M. to see which contestant gets casted off as the final six become five.
